The Bradford House is open during the months of April through December on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.), Thursdays (2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.), and by appointment.
The House is located at 175 S. Main Street, Washington PA 15301. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 537, Washington PA 15301.
Here is a zoomable map, courtesy of Google and GmapEZ. Nearby parking lots are shown with purple "P" icons. (The parking lots are more easily seen on this map in the "satellite view.") There is also a small parking lot immediately behind the House, which you can reach from Main Street by driving up the narrow alley next to the House.
Individuals are welcome to visit the Bradford House at any time it is open. Admission is $5.00 per person or $7.00 for two. Group tours can be arranged at other times, but should be scheduled in advance. To schedule a group tour, email us here or call 724-225-6740.
The House offers changing exhibits and several other special events. They are listed here in our Events Schedule.
Being the home of the Whiskey Rebellion, the house and its original owner, David Bradford, have a colorful history. See our History Page.
The Bradford House depends upon the charity of its members and donors to meet the cost of its maintenance and operation. Please help support the Bradford House by becoming a member, making a gift, or buying our nice calendar. Here is our convenient membership/gift form.
All memberships and donations are tax-deducable charitable donations. And members receive free admission and a quarterly historical journal.
The Bradford House is operated by the Bradford House Historical Association, a non-profit, charitable 501(c)3 corporation devoted solely to the preservation and operation of this house. Operation of the house is overseen by Director Clay Kilgore. You may reach us by any of the following means:
