Experience frontier life as it was in 1777. Witness a militia muster, drill and activities, blacksmithing, period crafts and cooking, all with the aid of living history interpreters.

The Rebel Fair

Noon to 6:00 p.m.
at the David Bradford House

Journey back to the 1700’s. Learn why local farmers and even lawyers took up arms against the newly formed US government and how this local insurrection was crushed by a federal army.
Events include an historic reenactment of Bradford’s escape (beginning at 4:00 p.m.), harrowing tales of frontier survival, a farmers’ market, period craftsmen, traditional music, a cooking demonstration, skilled artisans, a flint knapper, and tours of the House.
