The Bradford House Historical Association is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. The Bradford House is independently owned and operated by the Bradford House Historical Association. The museum is not a part of the Washington County Historical Society nor any other organization, although we do sometimes partner with them for special events. Therefore, the museum relies heavily on individual and business contributions as well as grants. The BHHA has received various grants from Washington County Community Foundation, the Laurel Foundation, the Allegheny Foundation, and Washington County Tourism and Promotion Agency.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) was initiated by community leaders to encourage charitable giving.

The mission of the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency is to provide economic benefit to Washington County by attracting overnight and day visitors.
