The Bradford House Historical Association is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  The Bradford House is owned by the State of Pennsylvania, however the museum has not received any funding from the State since 2009.  Therefore, the museum relies heavily on individual and business contributions as well as grants.  In 2014, the BHHA was awarded the Director’s Grant from Washington County Community Foundation.  In 2014, the BHHA received a grant from the Laurel Foundation for the History Symposium.  And for many years, the BHHA has received marketing and capital grants from the Washington County Tourism and Promotion Agency.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) was initiated by community leaders to encourage charitable giving.

The mission of the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency is to provide economic benefit to Washington County by attracting overnight and day visitors.
