When is the festival?
This year it is on Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, 2025.
The festival always is held the second weekend in July. It is located in Washington County, PA, at 139 S. Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.
Anything for Kids to do?
They run on Saturday from noon until 6 p.m
Tons! Children’s events, sponsored by the Washington Financial Bank, occur in the Lil' Rebels Area by The Bradford House gardens and the Meeting House. They run on Saturday until 6 p.m.
Children can experience writing with a quill pen and try 18th-century games such as rolling hoops, cup & ball, stilts and quoits.
And they will learn about the role of youngsters on the frontier, trying their hands at the types of domestic chores required of children, such as beating rugs and washing clothes in a tub with a washboard. Who says learning can't be fun???
Where should I park?
Free street parking is available throughout town. Citizens Library parking lot will be available. You can NOT park at the Main Street Pavilion or the Observer-Reporter lot, as they are reserved. More parking info.
Accessible Parking Spaces
The Observer-Reporter employee parking lot on Wheeling Street is reserved for accessible parking all day on the Saturday of the festival.
What is the Whiskey & Spirits Walk?
Tickets are $55 per person. There are 16 vendors. Visit the Whiskey and Spirits Walk page for details.
What types of restrooms are available?
The Main Street Pavilion restrooms will be closed, per the City. Porta johns are situated on the west side of Strawberry Alley and the Lil' Rebels Area.
What happens if it rains?
This event is held rain or shine.
What is the Whiskey Rebellion Dinner?
The annual Whiskey Rebellion Dinner is the Bradford House Historical Association's largest fundraiser. The 2026 Dinner will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Friday, November 6th. The cocktail reception starts at 6 pm. Dinner events start at 7 pm.
If you are a corporate sponsor of $5,000 or greater, you will get complimentary tickets to the dinner. Visit the Bradford House website for details.
