You can drop-in for a Guided Tour

The Bradford House is open for drop-in visitors Wednesday through Saturday from April through November, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Just pop in! A guided tour is about one-hour to one-and-a-half hours.

You can schedule a Guided Tour

Tours may be scheduled throughout the year by appointment with 48-hour notice, except New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. A guided tour is about one-hour to one-and-a-half hours.

Location and Parking

We are located on Main Street in Washington, Pennsylvania. Only a little over 30 minutes drive from Pittsburgh.

You can park in our lot for free, located directly behind the Bradford House — accessible via the alley. If the lot is full, street-metered parking spaces are available.

Accessibility

Our 235-year-old stone house cannot be adapted to be wheelchair-friendly, as there are steps at each entrance and no space for an interior elevator to all levels. However, those with physical limitations who can make it up one or two steps can explore the first level of the home and view pictures while seated in the comfort of our front hall way. Our kitchen cabin and period garden and courtyard are wheelchair-accessible.
