Young Rebels Explore History Workshop for Grades 6-12

Limit: 20 participants
During the workshop, students will learn to analyze primary and secondary historical sources of
information, using a series of worksheets from the National Archives for written documents, artifacts,
art, maps, and political cartoons. Historical analysis is the first step in working with primary sources.
Students will build skills to think through source materials for contextual understanding and to extract
information to make informed judgments.
A discovery tour of the Whiskey Rebellion Education &
Visitor Center is included.
Lunch (pizza and veggies) is included.
